Upton Court Grammar School

Reserves priority places for children at two specific named feeder schools, Foxborough Primary and Trevelyan Middle — a criterion none of the other three Slough Consortium schools in this project share.

Tracing back to 1912 as Slough Secondary School, split into single-sex schools in 1936, and reunited as co-educational Upton Grammar School in 1982 before its current name arrived in 2013, this is the fourth and final Slough Consortium school researched in this project. It shares the same GL Assessment test and 111-point eligibility threshold (the top 35% of test-takers) as Herschel, Langley, and St Bernard's, but its own oversubscription criteria include a distinctive feeder-school priority for children at Foxborough Primary School or Trevelyan Middle School that none of its consortium neighbours have. Like the other Slough schools, it isn't classed as superselective — a top-35% eligibility band is far wider than the narrow cutoffs typically associated with the term.
